When you are about to beat your child,  STOP and ....

Usually kids drive us crazy, and parents or care givers reach a point where they feel like beating the child, and what makes it worse is the life pressures.

Here are simple techniques to avoid beating, especially when under pressure. You'll feel better... and so will your child.

  1. Take a deep breath and turn your back to him.
  2. Count to 20, and tell yourself I'll take action after counting.
  3. Wash your face.
  4. Lay down or take a walk.
  5. Look at your face in the mirror.
  6. Remember a joke.
  7. Call a friend.
  8. Write what you are about to say in a paper, and read it again.
  9. Remember that he is a child and you are an adult.
